Children and teen groups:
- Alleviate trauma by providing support during disclosure.
- Provide a safe environment to express feelings about the sexual abuse.
- Develop self-protective attitudes through self-respect and assertiveness
- Reduce destructive and self-destructive behavior.
Children and teen groups:
- There is no charge to participate in Daughters and Sons United.
- Professionals, such as a professional volunteer or a Master's level therapist, volunteer their time to facilitate support groups.
